Age of students : 9-12
Duration of the project :1 school year
Aims : *Seacrch, find and understand each participant so school local history and tradicion.
*Communicate and exchange information about other countries local history and tradicionns
*Realise that every local history and tradicion are influenced by other countries ones.
*Searching about similarities between the participants local history and tradicionns.
*Realise and understand that there is a common European history link among the participants countries.
*Built a common European consciousness as well as a national one.
Action plan :
September : 1.We are introducing ourselves (Padlet )
2.We make our own avatar (Voki )
3.We introduce our country, home town and school. (Videos and images on Twinspace ).
October :We study our local history and search for local traditions. (Files, images and videos on Twinspace )
November :Logo's and poster contest.
December :1.We exchange Christmas cards.
2. We tell students of participant countries fairytales and Christmas stories and our Christmas customs on Skype.
3.We cook and eat a Christmas sweet from an other participant country .
January : 1.We study other countries local history and try to find similarities to our own one.
2. We publice the results on Twinspace.
February : 1.We make a common poster with all participating countries about European history.
2.We write a poem or song about the power of unity.
March : 1.We make a questionnaire about our local history to be completed by other participants.
2..We complete a questionnaire about other participants countries local history
April :1. We dance on Skype and local dance.
2..We dance on Skype other participant's local dances.
May :1.We prepare an exhibition with local history and tradicion photos from all participating countries and present it in our school.
2.We complete a medimetre questioner.
June :We evaluate the programme.
